Faculty in-service training module 1 and 2

Mr. Alexander S. Acosta, PSD Principal, resource speaker and trainer of the faculty in-service training module 1 and 2 conducted on the 23rd and 24th of October at the Philippine School DOha emphasized the value of continuous learning and development of all the PSD faculty and staff. The use of MITA and multimedia in teaching and its integration in the art of questioning was the highlight of the training. PSD faculty Mrs. Apphia Laroa, Ms. Joy Grase Secuya, Ms. Belinda Bonagua and Mrs. Clarivic Vistal demostrated the use of multiple intelligence teaching approach (MITA) in english, science and mathematics lessons while Mr. Acosta harnessed the teachers' skills in the use of multimedia. The guidelines in test construction and the art of questioning were also discussed by the resource speaker and trainer. Teachers Mr. Rafael Laderas and Mr. Junrey Barde's lectures focused on computer skills. The Faculty INSET 2009 was organized by the Human Resources Department in cooperation with the Office of the Principal and the Academic Coordinators Offices.
