Filipino community will soon fill Philippine School Doha ground to watch the much-awaited Christmas celebration of the institution, the biggest yuletide offering of PSD, featuring the best performances of the brightest talents of the institution. For the second time around, the school opens the largest Christmas extravaganza on Dec 13-14 at the PSD gymnasium. Dubbed as "Paskong Kay Saya," the well-attended festivity will gather the new generation and most talked about student-talents of PSD, including some acclaimed pillars of the institution.

This celebration will tackle the struggles encountered by a young boy who almost gave up his belief about Christmas. The show will prove that whatever trials we face will carry an opportunity to lighten the burdens of life. Through dance and music, the show will surely hit the interest of the viewing public.

"This year let us bring out the best yuletide celebration. Let us bear in mind the lessons that we learned this year. Let us remember that we can be assured of that God will understand and console us. Let us fill our hearts with appreciation and share with our fellowmen the gift of love and hope, so that we may become worthy of God's greatest gift" Dr. Alexander Acosta, PSD principal mentioned during the planning stage of this celebration.

This affair, known before as "Vox", is a two-hour program which will showcase dancing, singing and acting. This will serve as a fund raising event for the school which aims at improving the different school facilities of PSD in order to give quality instruction to every PSDian. This will be participated in by Hiyaw Dance Troupe, Chorale, Glee Club and Theatre Arts through the initiative of their respective moderators. Paskong Kay Saya is spearheaded by SARC Coordinator Dr. Lorie Villanueva.

PSD continues to bring out the talents of students and brings out joy to the public. PSD truly delivers simply the B.E.S.T.
