Students to showcase cultural night

Gratitude is truly the memory of the heart.

The Philippine School Doha, in cooperation with the Parent Teachers Association, will present a gratitude night of Philippine Folk Songs and Dances on March 6, 2009 at 5:00pm, at Al Ghazal Club featuring the school's dance club members.

The show is entitled HIYAW ( Himig at Sayaw), which will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the three biggest Philippine islands, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

It not only promises a night of folk songs and dances but also gives a chance to win fabulous prizes including a 2008 model of Nissan X-Trail,10 units of 32" Sony LCD television sets, 10 units of laptop computers and 10 consolation prizes of household appliances.
